All good things must come to an end. And so did our Championships. As of tomorrow this website shall have only historical value and the competition venue will be empty. All those moments that we shared together in Wrocław, on the other hand, will remain with us all. This event drew together like minded people - people who value sportsmanship and who through hard work and fair competition wish to attain perfection. And so you did, and so we congratulate you. We wish that your memories and friendships that you made during your stay in Poland remain with you until the next time we all meet at the competition hall. We also wish to express our gratitude to all that helped make this event what it was; judges, staff, volunteers, media representatives and wonderful spectators that made us all feel a part of a great happening. Filled with thrills, the second day of the World Championships is over. The most interesting were, of course, the two finals - in mixed pairs and in women trios categories. The Polish girls gave a solid performance, avoiding serious mistakes. This gave them the sixth place. The gold medal in this category went to the team from Russia. The trio including Aygul Shaykhudinova, Ekaterina Stroynova, Ekaterina Loginova proved better than the British. Third place went to Ukraine.
As many have predicted, in the mixed pairs category the gold medal went to the American pair Kristin Allen – Michael Rodrigues (winners of gold medals at last year's World Games). Second, and close were the Russians Tatiana Okulova – Revaz Gurgenidze. Bronze went to the Chinese, Yan Huang – Shaolong Zhang.

The first day of competition at the 22. World Championships in Acrobatic Gymnastics is now behind us. As expected, this year's Championships easily live up to the hype and represent a very high level. All Polish teams got to perform during the first day of qualifications. Our 4-men group did best and placed sixth advancing to the finals. Our women's trio did not much worse, placing seventh after two qualification sessions.

The Opening Ceremony for the 22. World Championships in Acrobatic Gymnastics is now behind us. Tomorrow start the qualifications - intense competition between the best acrobats from all around the world. 180 competitors from 25 countries will show off their skills in 5 competition categories - women's pairs, men's pairs, mixed pairs, women's groups and men's groups. Among the best there are the representatives of Poland. They will appear in the following categories: women's trio (Kinga Beker, Kinga Grześków and Kamila Kowalska), men's group (Tomasz Antonowicz, Michał Jarczak, Szymon Rudyk and Maciej Piasecki) and men's pair Adrian Czyż – Adam Wojtacki.

Only one day remains until the Opening Ceremony of the 22. World Championships in Acrobatic Gymnastics. It is the only World Championships event held this year in Poland. Most renowned delegations from all around the world along with the heads of International Federation of Gymnastics have confirmed their arrival. The presence of greatest acrobatic stars makes it certain that the event will provide us with unforgettable thrills while watching fierce competition for the medals.

6. World Age Group Competitions, considered to be the unofficial World Championships in acrobatic gymnastics for Juniors just came to an end. After three days of fierce competition between the best juniors from all around the globe all is known. Competitions are over and medals awarded. As expected, the Russians prevailed in team classification by winning 9 medals, 5 of them gold.

The second day of qualification sessions came to an end. Sunday did not bring any new surprises. After some fierce competition, yesterday's favorites have earned their right to appear in the finals after placing on premium positions saturday. As a matter of fact, after today's qualification sessions the Russians dominating the mat on saturday seem to have lost a bit of their edge. Even so they still remain one of the top candidates for the gold medal.

The first day of juniors' competition at the 6. World Age Group Competitions is over. The event that, according to experts, stands on a very high level, easily manages to provide the spectators with some unforgettable aesthetic thrills.
The performance of Polish teams came as a pleasant surprise. Our mixed pair in the "11-16" category – Bruno Walaszewski and Marta Szumacher – is placed second after their dynamic routine, giving way only to the British. Similarily well fared the girl group in the same age group. Wiktoria Wilk, Karolina Szela and Magda Helon placed fourth after their dynamic routine. The remaining Polish groups placed in the middle of the stack.

The Opening Ceremony of the 6. World Age Group Competitions is now behind us. Over 1,5 thousand spectators gathered for the event that featured a performance by Ola Bieńkowska from the Everest Group. The officials present at the Ceremony included Tonya Case - President of the Technical Committee of the International Federation of Gymnastics, Urszula Wojtkowiak - President of Polish Sports Acrobatics Association and Arkadiusz Szymczak - President of the Organizing Committee.
The event that since over a decade has been a sort of a "teaser" for the World Championships attracted this year a record number of 550 participants from 30 delegations from all around the globe. That definately makes it the greatest acrobatics event in Poland this year. Spanning 3 days, the event will unquestionably prove a challenge for the organizers and will serve as great rehearsal before the Championships following next week.
